Hi guys! So sorry for the long hiatus, I've had a few projects in the works. But, I am back and ready to hit the ground running!

I have been trying to update my home and give it a more chic and designer feel, but wasn't quite ready to spend a lot of money doing that. I tried to find inexpensive versions of what I was looking for but nothing really lived up to what I had in my mind. So instead, I decided to take a stab at making them myself!

I also want to mention that all of the projects were made with supplies I purchased at the Dollar King. I wasn't really setting out to make a "dollar store DIY" but when I went to get a couple of batteries I stumbled across some great crafting supplies and instantly got inspired. What also really amazed me was their incredible selection of artificial flowers. Normally, the flowers I find in dollar stores are less than ideal. They tend to look really cheap and skimpy. These, however, were absolutely gorgeous. In fact, there were almost too many great options so narrowing down was really tough! I Finally landed on the hydrangeas and roses and really am glad that I did because the final product adds an element of class and beauty to my otherwise plain shelves.
