My 30 Days to Minimalism Journey

I have been long inspired by minimalists and the minimalist lifestyle but being a mom to two little kiddos and being a long-time pack rat, its been hard to really truly implement that into my life. However, I recently came across a video by Sadia from Pick Up Limes which helped me realize that if broken down into small , manageable steps, I too can get closer to this minimalist life that I desired. So, with that, I thought it would be fun to vlog my journey and show you what goes on behind the scenes. Many times I see these decluttering videos and I think to myself, man, they make it look so easy! For me, I spend hours pouring over tiny pieces of scrap paper that I "may" use "someday" for a project, or a sentimental artifact or those jeans that I'm sure I'll wear again. Only to find that I've barely nicked the surface hours later!
My vlog series is a living journal of the emotions I go through and the thoughts I have while purging, sorting, organizing. It is real, raw, unfiltered and honest. I hope that for those of you out there who also feel like I do about clearing out your "junk" that this might help. I'm a total collector of things and have so many areas in my house that keep building up. As I'm sure many of you can relate. So follow along and let's see where this ends up in 30 days! ... give or take a day ;-)
